Hunter Douglas Duettes® Installed on Lake Winnipesaukee
Here’s a look at one of our latest installations — Hunter Douglas Duette® Honeycomb Shades in a beautiful lakefront home on Lake Winnipesaukee, New Hampshire. This project was completed by Zach Parker, our Master Installer at Verticals Etc., known for his precise craftsmanship and attention to detail.
For the main living areas, we installed top-down bottom-up cordless Duettes. This style allows homeowners to enjoy natural light from above while maintaining privacy below — perfect for homes with scenic views like Lake Winnipesaukee. The cordless operation adds a clean, modern look and makes the shades safe for children and pets.
On the sliding glass doors, we installed Duette® Vertiglide shades, the ideal companion to standard Duettes. Vertiglide systems provide the same honeycomb insulation benefits but move side-to-side for smooth, easy operation on large sliders. The coordinated fabrics keep a consistent, elegant look throughout the entire home.
In the kitchen, we completed the design with custom café-style shutters, offering a timeless touch that balances privacy with natural light. The combination of Duettes and shutters gives the home a beautiful blend of soft texture and classic style.
